Heart Old Films Discussion

Post by GrammarFreak »

What do I mean by "old films"? Anything from the 1800s to about 2006. Simply put, any film between the ages of 17 years old at the youngest, to 100+ at the oldest. Got it? Got it.

I've been thinking about watching that 5 hour long Napoleon film from 1927. I was a bit intimidated by the length, but the film is split into portions referred to as acts. There are other old films like that too (E.G. West Side Story), so I'm not as worried anymore. This'll be my first time watching a silent film, if not, the first in a long time for me. You know, my parents think I'm strange for my interest in such old films, but I don't mind! :ugeek:

Let the discussion commence!

These films are always fascinating! I've always wanted to watch nosferatu, (especially now with my projector!) But unfortunately I've never had the time ):

Maybe someone here could host a movie night that some of us could participate in?

Killer Bean. A masterpiece in filmmaking

Literally made by just ONE DUDE (besides voices) with genuinely good storytelling!

It was made in 2006 I'm pretty sure but the idea of killer bean stems back to 1996! I don't know how many people here know about or have watched it, but if you did, you're a real one

Watched 2 hours and 48 minutes (I think) of it one day, finished the rest the next day (popcorn included).
