something strange I thought about

Why do alot people all of a sudden like a bunch of old technologies? stuff that is redundant, like vinyls, rotary phones, old computers, etc
Like, some stuff I can get like using a dumb phone when you can't stand a modern phone,
But what about other stuff? Like crt monitors? Why Is that cool all of a sudden?

I think I heard something about the reason why. Many people miss simpler times [I.E. Nostalgia].
Some old things also work much better and have LESS BLOATWARE, LESS A.I. and DON'T SPY ON YOU. *Virtual cough*Windows 11*Virtual cough*

Yeah true. But also aesthetics of the era. Like vinyls n stuff, yet an mp3 player works perfectly fine. Why is that? Why does the crunchiness of an early 00's camera feel nostalgic, when I never even grew up then? Very strange
